Sports Excellence Funds

At Marquette, Sports Excellence Funds exist to give our head coaches the resources needed to address their team's most immediate strategic priorities and position their student athletes to compete at the highest level. These funds are allocated at the coach's discretion toward the initiatives that provide the greatest competitive edge, enabling each of our 17 Athletics programs to rise to the challenges and opportunities ahead.

This is the significance of the fund: it reflects Marquette Athletics' commitment to developing the whole student athlete, embracing our Jesuit value of cura personalis by supporting growth in mind, body, and spirit. By trusting our coaches to direct these resources where they're needed most, every gift becomes a direct investment in a Golden Eagle's development in competition, in the classroom, and in the community, helping us reach our full potential so we can help more Marquette student athletes reach theirs.
