Christmas-Themed Art from Haggerty

Marquette University began to acquire works of art shortly after it was founded in 1881. These early collecting efforts laid the foundation for what would become, over a century later, the collection of the Haggerty Museum of Art. That collection now includes over 7,000 works of art created from the Renaissance period to the present.

Fun Fact: Every year, Marquette University's president chooses one of those works to feature on Marquette's Christmas card.

Watch this BeyondMU recording on-demand here. During this special program, three Haggerty Museum of Art staff members will share and discuss a selection of those works.
