MAKE A GIFT TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) was established in 1969 as an institutional program by Dr. Arnold Mitchem and through the combined efforts of students, faculty, and administrators who believed that Marquette University had both the opportunity and responsibility to make Marquette education more accessible to low income, first-generation and minority students.
- Educational Opportunity Program: Critical support for Educational Opportunity Program students and programming at the discretion of the director.
- Mitchem Fellowship Program: Supplemental support for doctoral candidates from underrepresented minority groups.
- Arnold Levy Mitchem Opportunity Scholarship: Scholarship support to address the urgent needs of Educational Opportunity Program students.
Private financial support of the EOP has a profound impact on our students and faculty, and on the entire university. Your generosity will ensure that we continue to provide access and opportunity to help our students reach their full potential and leave Marquette transformed as leaders who set out to Be The Difference.
Gifts of any amount are appreciated. Supporters who make leadership gifts of $2,500 or more annually are recognized with membership in the President's Society. Recent undergraduate alumni can join the President's Society as a Brooks member at special giving levels: Classes 2015-19: $250+; Classes 2010-14: $500+; Classes 2005-09: $1,000+.
