ANSWERING THE CALL

Join our vision to launch a new facility and take nursing education to the next level.

"Our hope is to inspire others"

In February 2021, President Michael R. Lovell shared that one Marquette alumni couple “answered the call,” stepping forward to give a transformational gift that significantly grew nursing scholarships and the College of Nursing’s strategic initiatives. This remarkable gift from alumni Darren and Terry Jackson inspired our thinking for a College of Nursing Legacy Fund.

Our new home, in the heart of campus

Our Catholic, Jesuit identity is central to every interaction

• Positioned in the heart of campus, across from St. Joan of Arc Chapel, our new home for our College of Nursing will be within Straz Hall.

• Moving our mission forward, our strategic plan for the college has set us on a path to recognize and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

• After completing significant renovations, we are planning to move into our new home in 2024. This facility will fuel our growth strategy to meet a serious societal need.

• Enrollment growth has risen significantly in the past four years, and we expect to add an additional 200 undergraduate nurses to our college over a four-year period.

• From day one, every Marquette Nurse is taught what it means to be a faithful patient advocate for the vulnerable. The power of nursing has never been more important.

Establishing a Planned Gift

Our planned giving team will help you make the most impact through your charitable giving, whether through a bequest, IRA, donor advised fund, charitable trust or gift annuity, real estate, life insurance or other customized gift.

Gifts to our College of Nursing Legacy Fund will elevate nurses as caregivers by helping to build our new facility, maintain it into the future and ensure our students have the latest technology. Fill out the form below to get in contact with our team!
