Giving Societies at Marquette
Marquette University’s giving societies recognize alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends whose generous commitments help shape Marquette’s future. Their foundational support strengthens and enhances the programs and opportunities that enable students and faculty who are called to Be The Difference to lead as difference makers for our communities and across the globe.
The President’s Society recognizes and celebrates the generosity of alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends who, through their leadership gifts of $2,500 or more annually, help advance Marquette.
Annual membership is based on gifts made from July 1 to June 30. Gifts may include pledge payments, cash, matching gifts, stock, gifts in kind and realized planned and estate gifts. Click here to make a gift today.
Giving Levels
In a spirit of heritage, our society giving levels are named after Marquette’s early esteemed presidents:
- Lalumiere level: $25,000+ in a single fiscal year
- Burrowes level: $10,000-$24,999
- McCabe level: $5,000-$9,999
- Brooks level: $2,500-$4,999
Young Alumni Giving Levels
Recent undergraduate alumni can join the President's Society as a Brooks member at special giving levels:
- Classes 2019-2023: $250+
- Classes 2014-2018: $500+
- Classes 2009-2013: $1000+

The Archbishop John Martin Henni Founders Society honors the remarkable generosity of individuals and organizations whose lifetime giving commitment to Marquette University—including planned gifts—totals $1 million and above.
The society honors their profound impact on Marquette and our students as part of an extraordinary group—reflective of Marquette’s earliest benefactors, who, in the mid–1800s, supported Marquette Founder Archbishop John Martin Henni’s mission to build a Catholic and Jesuit university that develops men and women for others.
