Student Philanthropy Leadership Council

Create Awareness. Show Gratitude. Give.

Philanthropy is foundational to Marquette's success. The Student Philanthropy Leadership Council engages current students to reflect on their own unique Marquette experience, inspiring them to tap their inner generosity and passion for Marquette, which starts their legacy.

It's simple! Fill out the application and, if you are selected, we will reach out to you for a brief interview.

What's In It For Me If I Become A Committee Member?

  • You're building your resume! Each committee member has a designated role which can better enhance the skills you need after graduation.
  • Networking and friendships. You are meeting peers who have similar interests as you, and you have the opportunity to engage in exclusive networking opportunities with alumni and campus leaders.
  • Did someone say free stuff? Each committee member will receive an SPLC t-shirt, and we always have snacks at our meetings.

Is Senior Challenge A Part Of SPLC

Yes! It is a subcommittee. By participating in Senior Challenge, you can help out with opportunities such as Give Marquette Day and senior programming while encouraging your classmates to make a gift and leave your Marq on the university before graduation! Check out the senior challenge page for more information.
